Holy Sheet!

We've reached the tail end of week three of our remodel, and the weather has finally cooperated long enough for Nick to finish sheeting our roof!

New Sheeting:

On Thursday, the crew from Bean's Roofing came back and papered the roof, so when the rain returns, Nick and his subs will have a dry place to work.

Up next... Framing new interior walls and installing windows.

The Roof! The Roof! The Roof is... Gone!

After a weekend full of demolition and manual labor, it was time for the pros to take over. Last Monday, the crew from Bean's Roofing showed up at about 7am. Before I left for work, they were already up on the roof scraping off the shingles. So, for the time being, our roof has been reduced to 1x4 skip sheathing.
